Hazy golden, with a large white head. Aroma of yeast, fruit and spices. Yeasty flavour with oranges and apricots. Finish is dry, with notes of alcohol

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2011 Birra unica, particolarissima e assolutamente spiazzante. Immaginate una Bommen&Granaten con meno corpo, meno alcool ma più carbonata. Il paragone con un barleywine non tragga in inganno, si tratta di una belgian ale (molto, molto strong!) a tutti gli effetti, ma "un po’ puttana", come la definisce Teo. A metà tra birra e champagne (le bollicine si sentono), ma dolcissima, un vero e proprio nettare, un elisir. Colore ambrato intensissimo, schiuma prorompente ma assai poco persistente. Aroma intensissimo, da orgasmo puro. In bocca dolce, intensa, senza alcun retrogusto amaro, ma assolutamente ben bilanciata. Provate ad assaggiarla in compagnia di un cioccolato fondente e ne percepirete venature acidule e anche lievemente amarognole. Secca, asciutta e rinfrescante, sufficientemente beverina. E’ birra da meditazione, ma anche da pasto, abbinabile praticamente con tutto. Assaggiatela senza pregiudizi: vi stupirà!

Bevuta in bottiglia si presenta molto bene colore ambrato moltolimpido con schiuma fine. Si sente solamente il profumo di caramello e in bocca risulta essere un pò dolcina senza lasciare nessun particolare retrogusto.

Tap at redlight. Pours a transparent dark amber with a white head that fades slowly, but does go away after a while. Aromas of fruits, some malt, booze. Taste is rich malts, some funk, some interesting fruity-ness and alc burn in the finish.

UPDATED: JAN 14, 2011 Fantastica birra, ottimo aroma maltato, molto frizzante in bocca, dolce ma non stucchevole. Una birra da pasto, si abbina praticamente con tutto come uno champagne.

Bottle at Arancia Blu in Rome. Had this with some delicious fresh pasta. Aroma was very fruity and flowery - maybe a bit of honeysuckle, orange blossom. Flavor was lightly sweet, but also a bit bitter and acidic which made it go great with food. Also had flavors of black pepper, coriander, and other spices. Smooth, structured mouthfeel. Overall pretty decent beer!

come tutte le baladin una birra particolare e sicuramente interessante. mi aspettavo qualche cosa di più dalla schiuma e dall’aspetto in generale sul quale secondo me si può ancora lavorare

Schiuma compatta e poco persistente colorito bruno con riflessi ambrati.Al naso apre con note citriche che sfumano nel tostato e caramellato con leggeri sentori speziati. Poco carbonata al palato, apre con note di torrone, frutta matura e caramello; chiude con il dolce prepotente del malto. Nel complesso una birra molto articolata e ricca di sfaccettature anche se forse un pò sbilanciata sul dolce

my preferred le baladin beer. Its particular very sparkling feature make it really singular. fruity taste, not too much sweet. you can’t feel the alchol when you drink it
