Bottle. Pours an unclear amber beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, sweetness, yeast and some flowers. The flavor follows the nose with some additional flowers and honey. The palate is sweet. Overall a good beer.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 marcot (771) - Campomorone, ITALY - JUN 18, 2010

Bottle @ Odense Tasting, April 2010. Pours unclear orange with a small creamy white head and lacings. Nose is sweet, yeasty and fruity. Orange and some spices. Flavor is clove, yeast and honey. Warmth. Not a Baladin Favorite. Thats for sure
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ricke (476) - Malme, SWEDEN - NOV 14, 2009
Hazy golden orange with a big off-white head. Some lacings.
The smell is wheaty and kind of sharp with notes of white bread, spices and gentle honey notes. Nothing spectacular, but quite enjoyable.
The taste is rather sweet with a prominent somewhat tangy wheaty character. Notes of bread, spices, yeast and honey. A mild tart note in the middle. The finish is dry with notes of fruit and honey. You can detect the alcohol, but considering that this one weighs in at 9%, it very well hidden.
Medium to moderate body, quite a lot of carbonation.
A decent beer. Thankfully, the honey notes are well integrated and not too overpowering. Quite refreshing.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 3fourths (6218) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 18, 2009
train rating. 750ml bottle, bottle-conditioned, gushed (anticipated so it was opened over a toilet!). heavy cloudiness, dark orange/toast colored body, dirty speckled tan head. zesty and hearty honey in the nose along with some clove or similar spices. plenty of unfermented sugars left in this one - honey is heavy and dense. yeast is zesty and prickly, belgian in nature. overall and interesting and unique beer as is the M.O. with baladin, but doesn’t wow me that much.
