COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wheat beer, revolutionary in the world of italian productions, the "Isaac Biere" present absolutely original qualities. It is, in fact, a biere blanche of obvious belgian root, with an intense fruity fragrance where the camomile and mallow stand out. Balanced taste of apricot, pear and fig with a lovely spicy note, typical for the white beer. Its quality of very pleasing and easy to drink beer and its olfactory characteristic gain it the appellation of "biere pour enfants" ( and not by chance Isaac is the name of Mastro Teo’s son). Excellent during meals it matches wonderfully first dishes and fish, while its use in cooking allows enjoyable and appreciated variations.

Small bottle. Yellow, low head, hazy if you get some yeast into the glass. Fairly perfumed aroma, Mallow (I guess), chamomille - slightly cloying to be honest. Wheaty base, mellow mouthfeel, sparkly mouthfeel. The herbal bubblegum works better in the flavor, I am still getting a root-beer wibe though. Interesting.

Pours a hazy dark golden yellow color that appears almost orange in the glass with golden banana colored hues when held to a light and a half finger fizzy white head that quickly settles into a lasting ring. Minimal lacing. Visible carbonation bubbling up. Sweet citrus aroma with hints of earthy, bready yeast, subtle spice and crisp light fruit. I was expecting more of a zesty peppery/coriander presence but it’s more grassy with hints of straw and apple. Pale malt. Medium bodied with more of a spicy character up front than the aroma suggests along with a crisp earthy hop presence. Slightly dry with hints of earthy grass and straw. Subtle bready yeast with slight alcohol sweetness along with hints of apple and pear. Very faint lemon peel/citrus presence toward the dry finish. Overall, this beer was really off for the style and just didn’t taste very good. Thin, kind of bland and not worth the hefty price tag. I really like Baladin a lot but this was a disappointment.

Draught at Open Baladin. Light hazy yellow with a large white head, nice lacings. Aroma moderate malty (wheat, coriander, camomille, spicy), light yeasty (spicy) and hoppy (citrus). Flavor moderate sweet and refreshing. Medium body.

Koelschtrinker (6544) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 2, 2011
Gewürzig-ausbalancierter Antrunk, frisch, leicht hefig, kein bisschen säuerlich. Im Mittelteil leicht malzig werdend, würziger und malziger, weiter frisch aufgrund der Hefe und gewürzig. Ausgewogen, im Abgang vielleicht etwas zu süß. Minimal bitter. 7/9/9/9/12/9

Bottle. Pours a hazy slightly pale gold with a white head that dissipated completely. Aroma has a sweet wheat note with some light fruits, pears and apricots, with a bit of backing spice. Flavor was sweet with apricots and wheat with a bit of pear coming through and a growing spice note. Solid.

Very nice and pungent wit aroma, head dissipates quite quickly and mouthfeel is a little light, but the finish is clean and dry as it should be, it is well made. I like this beer.
