COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wheat beer, revolutionary in the world of italian productions, the "Isaac Biere" present absolutely original qualities. It is, in fact, a biere blanche of obvious belgian root, with an intense fruity fragrance where the camomile and mallow stand out. Balanced taste of apricot, pear and fig with a lovely spicy note, typical for the white beer. Its quality of very pleasing and easy to drink beer and its olfactory characteristic gain it the appellation of "biere pour enfants" ( and not by chance Isaac is the name of Mastro Teo’s son). Excellent during meals it matches wonderfully first dishes and fish, while its use in cooking allows enjoyable and appreciated variations.

Typical lemon and coriander notes paired with an unexpected note of cardamom. Very light flavor with a light citrus-y-ness. Refreshing.

Thanks to Mike Lovulo for sharing this bottle with me. Deep yellow pour, quite hazy. The nose is very interesting. Some soft grassy spice but there is also a danker, more herbal sort of spice component. A bit of lemon peel and tropical lemongrass as well. Pronounced wheaty character, but I’ve never tasted anything like this. Herbal and almost musky with some other sort of heavy spice over the top. A bit of buckwheat flavour toward the finish. Damn - this is good stuff.

Visual: Pours rusty gold with a white head that falls quickly. Fairly bright, low sedimentation. Nose: Lemon zest, coriander, lavender and rose. Palate: Medium body, prickly carbonation. Spicy, slightly tart, Coriander, lemon zest and lavender; just like the aroma suggest. A bit oily as well. Average alcohol warmth and length. Conclusion. This beer is an interesting Italian twist to the Belgian white beer. It’s a great beer for any time of the year really. If you’re looking for something a bit different and to surprise your friends, this is a good choice. Whoever hears about Italian white ales? ~dr

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dirty beige colour ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry Belgian malt with light fruity ester. Taste is not as complex as I would have expected with typical Belgian malt with a rather semi-dry aftertaste. Body is above average with good carbonation. I would have never guessed the style I had not check back on Ratebeer. The aroma of cloves, wheat and coriander is totally absent from this beer.

Color dorato con leggera schiuma. L’aroma è fruttato e leggermente speziato classico dello stile. In bocca è morbida, con un tocco di acidità e d’amarognolo nel finale. Molto fedele allo stile belga.

A hazed lifeless dark golden wit with no head. Faint banana and cloves in aroma, with light fruity esters. In mouth, a light wit with light fruity silky malt, light bananas and strawberries, lingering sweetness, watery and boring. Bieropholie import, BB Jan 2012.
