Bottle (250 ml) from Beer & Spirits, Knaresborough
Light amber, hazy, white head which dissipates quickly to almost no head - just a thin white rim - flat looking.
Aroma - Floral, spicy, aromatic, bit of grape, sweet malts.
Taste - Very floral and aromatic, bit spicy, herbal, some citrus fruits, grape and pear, sweetish, no bitterness, no hops (?), slightly soapy. very unusual - quite complex.
Palate - very soft carb, thin but also creamy, but oily. Finish of aromatic flowers - lingers for ages and ages(!)
Very unusual beer - pleasant taste and aroma - easy drinking - good but not exceptional.

From the tap poured a straw color with a small amount of head. Light malty flavor, very refreshing, with a quick finish.

Tap at Paradiso Georgetown. No head on a clear straw pour. Nose, as the girlfriend describes, is like toilet bowl cleaner. I actually like the nose on this one: big chamomile, lavender, orange oil, potpourri to the max. Taste is refreshing, bold herbal spices, honey herbal tea, lavender soap. Nice oily palate. My favorite beer from the evening but would probably come across as too herbal spicy for most people. Lavender can be extremely off-putting in beer but I enjoy it.

Taste is a pretty crisp mix of: fruit, orange, abricot, yeast, soap, barleys, malts, hint of dough, nice medium bitterness.
Nice bitter fruity light yeasty aftertaste.
Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a light creamy texture. Nice.

Come blanche appare subito un po’ più scura della media, anche al gusto risulta leggermente fuori stile. Molto limonosa e floreale, sa di pane e cereali.

the first impression of this was that it smells and looks like a little but of orange juice poured into a pint of hefeweizen, tastes like it too. Not that its a bad thing, the knock against most belgian whites is that theres not enough distinctive flavor, but this definitely has enough flavor. delicious actually, been wanting to try this one for a long time, and it didnt disappoint.

25cl. bottle from a local beer retailer. It pours a hazy golden-amber liquid with lots of yeast spots (some of them quite big) and a small white head that dissipates completely almost instantly and leaves no lacing at all. The aroma is very fruity, with a notable wheaty and yeasty character, along with some floral hoppiness. It leaves hints of apricot (mainly), along with some other fruits (grapes, pear), camomille and very mild spices. It tastes likewise, with some additional distant caramel touch. It is medium sweet, moderately bitter and a slight sour. In the mouth it feels softly carbonated, with oily texture a medium body and a quite dry finish, leaving an aftertaste of fruit, camomille and flowers. A new way to interpret Witbier by these italian geniuses. Not my favourite, but quite a nice and surprising brew. Presentation rocks, as always with Baladin.
