Curioso color rosato/arancio quasi opalescente, con una fragile schiuma biancastra. Aroma debolmente maltato e speziato con spiccati sentori di ciliegia e zucchero a velo; al palato offre un’insolita combinazione di note fruttate, acidule e amarognole che ricordano un vino brut leggermente più dolciastro con un tocco di ciliegie e luppoli. Corpo lieve, effervescenza vivace, gusto rotondo e finale bilanciato. Ideale per un aperitivo insolito, da provare!

Bouteille de 750 ml obtenue via Importations Privées Bièropholie. Arôme: Odeur de cerise avec une pointe de canneberge. Apparence: La couleur est blonde voilée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Léger goût de cerise et de framboise. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette:Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement onctueuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de cerise en arrière goût.. (Raint #4627)

Uncleat light red without any foam whatsoever, only initially when poored. Aroma is cherries, but taste is surpringly not that cherry sweet like Belgium Krieks, little bitter even. However cherries are all over. Last portion of the bottle turned to brownish mud color, didn’t drink that. Sweet sherry aftertaste, a good desert beer. (Catania 201212)

Pours cloudy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, cranberries, cherries, strawberries and black currant. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long sweet and dry finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Sample at Beer Enthusiasts presentation, Patricks. Hazy reddish-orange body with a small off-white head. Nice aroma of berries, not particular cherry and hint of malt. Flavor is fresh berries in general, slightly acidic and some yeast. Moderate bitterness. Evaluated as a fruit beer and not a labic this is well balanced, refreshing and really nice, but of course not as complex as a lambic based kriek. Not to common with good fruit beers in this style.

Bottle. Red -orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, berries, earth, spices. Flavour is fruit, berries, earth, spices, yeast, cherries. Nice beer.

Bottle, 75cl corked, at Patricks. An unclear, reddish-orangey beer with a small off-white head. Not much maltyness going on, it’s mostly fruity and berryish on the nose. Black currant bushes and some lingonberries too. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish. Overall, pleasant, but nothing more. 120614

Bottle at Beer Bistro. Pours solid pink body with lasting three-eighths inch of pinkish head. Neutral to slightly funky and sweet aroma. Middle mouthfeel, satisfying integrated cherry taste. Not too sweet and good drinkability.
