COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Thank you, yespr. Fruity aroma, seems unclean, perhaps just bretty. Cloudy pink/amber colour. The flavour is sweetish, a bit fruit juicy, hint of acid, but not enough to balance sweetness. Also a little funky note. Isotonic mouthfeel.

Bottle at Beer Bistro. Pours solid pink body with lasting three-eighths inch of pinkish head. Neutral to slightly funky and sweet aroma. Middle mouthfeel, satisfying integrated cherry taste. Not too sweet and good drinkability.

Bottled, at Taste Firenze. Salmon color with lace. Minerals and cherry nose. Nice light cherry sweetness in the mouth, with lots of minerals. Decent, but not very rich. Refreshing.

Birra assolutamente UNICA. Colore rosso ambrato, schiuma di media persistenza. In bocca e al naso sprigiona un gusto difficilmente imitabile. Le ciliegie la fanno da padrona ma sono percepibili anche note di malto e luppolo. Da provare.

Bottle in Rome, purchased from Domus Birrae. Very hazy amber beer. Big fluffy off white head. Light frothy palate with a carbonated sting. A little bretty sourness and then medium cherry. Not too strong, Trace of orange as well. Dry finish with mild minerals. Okay.

Capped 750 from Open Baladin in Rome. Pours hazy orange with a big frothy creamy head. Aroma is lightly sour and funky. Near med body. Flavor is funky, earthy, light fruity. And a little cherry does seem to pop up in the finish.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours orange copper with a sharp yeasty aroma. and a thick fluffy white head. There is a fruity flavor, just a little cherry, and a slightly sour finish. Tastes more like a saison than a kriek.

Tasted this at YNWA on Beer day, with a little gratious help from some out of town freinds. Fruity aroma, with notes of sour berries, bret, malt, wood and yeast. The taste is sweet’ish, with a quite tart aftertaste. Fine notes of spices, malt, yeast and fruit. Quite nice, but not as tart as it’s belgian counterparts.

75cl. bottle shared at BeerCentre. It pours a hazy amber-pink bubbly liquid with a very high bubbly durable pink head that lasts throughout the beer and leaves a good lacing. The aroma is fruity and gueuze like, with hints of cherries, a little peach and apricot and a slight wheaty touch. There are some spices too; it smells sour to the core. It tastes very much like expected, not very intense, with a good deal of sourness and a little bitterness and sweetness. In the mouth it feels very lively carbonated (but not annoying), reminding of Asturian cider. It has a light-medium body and a long dry and quite sour finish with an aftertaste of cherry and some other fruits. An exquisite presentation (though it lacks a customized crown cap) for a light original sour ale that makes for a nice aperitif.
