The first 100% Italian beer made with Italian ingredients. An intentionally simple beer: Italian water, barley malt, hops, yeasts and two Italian spices (bergamot and coriander) which combine to create harmony and originality. A beer which suggests more or less daring combinations, but more importantly marks a turning point in the Italian production of craft beer. Nazionale, is excellent as an aperitif and goes well with any dish. 13.6° EBC 10

botte, 075. Brra italiana...recensione in italiano!

Golden Ale tutta italiana, colore giallo paglierino leggermente velato.

Bottle. Curious Hop, Otley. Cloudy gold. Big, frothy, dense, white head. Looks good. Got a Belgian, saison thing going on for me. A bit wheaty. A bit sugary. Taste is sugary sweet. Light dry. Soft, massaging mouthfeel. Quite creamy. Finishes fairly sweet, with just a hint of bitterness on the close. Easy drinking, albeit a little boring.

€ 5 bottle from Trenitalia on the way from Venice to Firenze. Hazy bright yellow, head white and soft, big, with nice retention. The nose is straw and citrus, coriander. I’m really surprised there’s actually no wheat in this. It’s a pretty nice mix of spicy and grainy. Tastes wheaty as well, less spiciness than I’d expect from the nose, there’s some sourish apple notes, with a dryish grainy and hop bitter finish. Overall a fruity (apples), grainy and refreshing beer. Saison-like. I enjoyed it!

Clear gold with a foamy white head, good carbonation. Candi sugar, a bit of caramel, leaves, a hint of vanilla, white pepper, Spa Reine. A bit more sweetness in the finish, also fizzy and dry
