Shared 750 ml bottle at Cardinal. Hazy orange body with a tan colored film. Heavy vanilla nose with light fruity notes. Sweet, heavy vanilla mouth too. Medium to full body. Smooth, light syrupy and alco warm. Fantastic vanilla finish. Vanilla killa!

Bottle (kindly shared by omhper!). Deep amber colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is vanilla, spices, some fruits and a bit yeastyness as well. Flavour is strong vanilla (almost burning vanilla), with mild spices, alcohol, ripe fruits and some mild tar like notes. Lovely vanilla!

Dark white almost no head. Dark color. Coconut flavour. Sweet vanilla and coconut, strange taste.

Superdark ruby color, small offwhite head. Aroma of vanilla; and not much else. Taste is also very vanilla, with a nutty/marzipan finish. Suprisingly good and pretty ’one of a kind’.

Bottled, thanks fiulijn! Hazy nut brown, small head. Aroma of caramel and vanilla, spruce and salt. Medium-full bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. Spruce and vanilla dominates, yet it retains nice balance. Mid bitter finish.

750 ml bottle. Clear, deep red body with a moderate sized beige head. Strong aroma of mild roasted malt, wood, vanilla and slightly oxidation. Flavor is sweet malt, dry fruit, moderate bitterness, some oxidation and too much wood. Fine body and balanced aftertaste. Interesting and original, but too much oak and missing balance for my likings. Normally I love vanilla flavor, but not in this case, the aroma was the best part.

0.75l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a near murky-dark brown one with a nice medium sized off-white top. It smells or minty vanilla toothpaste? That’s a new one. Some traces of sweet licorice and hints of hay. A new experience. The taste? It’s just lovely vanilla all all the way. No, really, this is one of those extreme beers created to taste one specific thing. The theme of this is: Vanilla. Overwhelming, but I’m a big sucker for the small black seeds. Almost like sucking directly on the vanilla pods. Sweet with chocolate and caramel. A powerful, extreme and memorable one that sets a mood. I like this stuff! 26.12.2012

Dark amber color with small head. Fake vanilla and chocolate flavor. Sweetish mouthfeel, some vanilla and chocolate, not convincing; low bitterness.
Simple; unpleasant.

deep coppery, close to amber. thick inch of off-white foam. aroma is like some toothpaste, with mint and vanilla as main ingredients. also has some belgian yeast funk. taste is artificial vanilla madness, extreme to the full extent of the word. some sweet candysugar, and a slight bitter finish. medium body.
