3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Courtesy of Jan (fonefan), vintage 2008, 3 years old; bottle with a bad quality cork
Cloudy amber color, with a big but not persistent head; this one, differently from the Xyauyù series, is well carbonated. The aroma has malt, very dusty, probably the result of the cocoa beans, and fresh wood sap. Sweet malt flavor, with a strange, light acidity, and again some dusty character. Low bitterness, and the sweetness is quite cloying in the end, not supported by anything else. Not as good as other Baladin beers.
