Bottiglia.

Bottiglia shared@Weird Beer Tasting 2016, BH. - Placeholder impressions: bodacious Dunkelweizen meets the mild yeasty spice of a Belgian Blonde, seasoned by a host of exotic Mediterranean dust (ginger, myrrh surfacing as powders which could also be yeast). Pleasant mouthfeel, delicate brew.

on tap at saint-bock, mtl. unclear dark brown pour, orange tint, with a nice creamy off-white head, some lacing. cherry and cinnamon, buttery sweet caramel, burning alcohol, treacle and demerara sweetness, dried fruits, tannic wood. moderately high carbonation, light to medium body; warming spicy finish. nice caramel with a belgian spicy twist - some complexity i guess but mainly due to its added ingredients..

Pours a bright golden color with a small white head. Smells grainy with some spices and bread. Tastes pretty malty with perhaps a hint of ginger or some other kind of spice. Finishes smooth and dry with a medium-light body. Overall an interesting, if a bit weak on flavor, beer.

Hazy amber/orange color, average sized tan head. Aroma of spice, malt, orange, cherries, peaches. Taste of malt, ginger, figs, honey. Medium body, soft carbonation. Fruity, spicy and very tasty.

Bottle 0,33l from Hops Beer Shop in Trieste. Hazy dirty yellow liquid with average head. Smell is very nice, spicy, cloves, cinnamon. Taste is very spicy, again cinnamon and some other spices, ginger maybe. Medium body, light carbonation. Long cinnamon finish. A bit too much cinnamon. Interesting.

Craft Beer Fest Vienna 2016 v1 Dried fruit, spice and ginger on the nose. Medium bodied, sweet with very interesting roasty notes. I daresay this reminds me of barbecued meat, in the best way possible. Finishes a bit dry.

I love ginger so it is tricky to be objective, but overall a nice brew, with malty, caramel, fruity and spicy tastes.

Tap @Open Baladin, Roma. Malty, grainy aroma, caramel and spice. Slightly earthy. Similar flavour, perhaps a touch of citrus. Hmm.

(Rating #6831)
