At Eataly. I’m usually not a huge fan of oddly spiced beers but this one really worked for me. Belgian-y but the spices are all different. Serving: bottle

Bottle sample at a tasting at our place. Thanks Yoav. Cloudy orange. Peach in syrup, black pepper and some honey aroma, sweet yet very peppery taste, no carbonation, smooth, medium-bodied. Nice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks Yoav. Cloudy golden. Spicy aroma with ginger, pepper and some graininess. Sweet flavor with malt, honey, pepper, ginger and an alcoholic note. Medium-bodied, strong carbonation. Not my thing.

average fizzy white head. fair lacing. mostly diminishing. cloudy thick beige body. aroma: light hoppy, white grape, date, white wine and ginger. if: moderate sweet light acidic. ff: light sweet acidic bitter; long duration. palate: light medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, moderate astringent alcoholic finish.

Hazy golden color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is mostly sugary, but taste is much richer. Spices, orange, ginger, resin and honey. Thin to medium body, creamy texture, soft to average carbonation. Medium to heavy sweetness with long sweet finish. Not bad.

Thanks to the Mas Plenum people at Vinocom! For some reason, I’d expected this to be dark, turned out to be a misty golden. Peppery, sweetish grainy aroma, lovely malty notes, orange, quite balanced. Slightly sweet, again, peppery (could be the work of ginger... dunno how myrrh’s supposed to taste), silky taste... Not thrilling but damn pleasant nonetheless.
