Birra dorata con schiuma bianca e cremosa. Al naso vengono messe in risalto le diverse spezie e il malto.Aroma molto piacevole: zenzero, noce moscata,incenso e un accenno di lavanda.Il gusto è leggero con un sapore dolce,piccante, un po’ di pepe,incenso,fruttato leggero con un finale speziato amaro e una nota acida rinfrescante.

Tasted from bottle at The Purple Pig. Pours a cloudy pale orange with a thick white head that leaves heavy lace. Nose has the signature aroma of Belgian yeast with some banana and fresh orange peel. It almost smells like white wine with a grape and earth aroma. Flavor is bittersweet orange peel with some spices and banana yeastiness. The body is full and coating with lively carbonation and a long yeasty orange finish. There is an acidity that makes this beer great with food.

Pours cloudy orangeish with a thin white head. Aroma is spicy, ginger lemon. Some odd aromas and flavor was kind of off. Citrus ginger sweet-ish. A bit of a mess.

Cloudy orange with decent, creamy, white head / Elegant nose of sour matl, cedar, and spice / Medium body, lightly sweet and creamy, malty and fat with soft carbonation, with sourness on the good finish / Flavors of sour malt, lemon, pine, ginger, and myrrh, no doubt / Somewhat cloying without enough hopping, and with the lemon-ginger flavor profile not working for me.

On tap at Open Baladin, RBESG Rome day 3. Murky amber colour, white head. Aroma is very spicy, incense, ginger and some nutmeg, hint of lavender. Flavour is sweet, spicy, a bit peppery, incense, light fruity, dry bitter spicy finish. Light to medium bodied. A bit weird.

Sample from bottle. Hazy pale yellow pour. Aroma is very pleasant: some fresh ginger, lots of fresh bread dough, zesty yeast and lemon. Taste is light, sweet with just a bit of a sour refreshing note. Palate is quite lively and perfectly suited for the beer. This is a perfect 11 AM beer. I would drink a case of this this summer without too much of a problem.

A Mes rate. Bottle at Tom’s that I got from the ever generous Mr & Mrs Fonefan.
Hazy yellow gold with a good white head and a few yeasty floaters. Lemony aroma with a slight chemical tinge and plenty of Belgian style yeast. Similar flavour. A little too yeasty for me but it’s really well balanced and plenty flavourful. A very faint sourness really makes it. Gives it a really pleasant zesty feel. Especially spritely in the finish. Nice beer, just not amazing.
