flowery aroma, not hoppy but more like lavender. cloudy yellowish/orange with a thick one-fingered size head. The taste is similar to the aroma with a little copper metallic twinge. Earthy yeast and flowers are still dominating. Slight bitterness and maybe a little honey.

Bottle at Funky Buddha/Case and Keg tasting. I really enjoyed this. Cloudy golden yellow pour with a nice rich head. Aroma is fruity, malty, sweet and spicy. Flavor is sweet and very thick on the tongue. I get some really good candy sugar, caramel and fruit. Pretty damn good.

Aroma: A lot of banana, some resin, some grass. Appearance: Amber, slightly hazy. A very small but nice and stable head. Taste: Medius sweet, medium bitter, medium sour. Some umami. Palate: Full bodied, a bit oily, fizzy, long. Recommended for its unique grassy character.

Pours a honeyed orange with very little head. Aroma is dominated by citrus. Flavor profile features apricots & peaches, a touch of honey, and something slightly medicinal - ginger perhaps. Finish is incredibly smooth, just a touch of wheat. No hops to be found. Because the bottle was so dark and the name is "Nora", and because I hadn’t researched this beforehand, I expected this to be a dark ale. And I decided to eat some dark chocolate with it. When I realized it was instead a spiced ale, I was so committed to the chocolate that I stuck with it, even though it seemed like a strange choice. Actually, it worked quite well. Brought out the citrus acidity and wheat flavors. Overall, a very nice beer. But at the Italian-style price of $6 for an 8oz. bottle (take-out), the value is a bit dubious.

Draft. Rich Os. Very murky amber body. Head is short, white and frothy, mostly diminishing. Aroma of coriander, ginger, grain, citrus, flowers and caramel. Hints of honey, pear. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet with a nice lingering tartness. Very dry. There’s also this sensation that the beer is sprinkled with white pepper, the same taste you get from Baladin’s Waylan. Medium body with a smooth texture. Lively carbonation. The more beers I have from this brewery, the more I am impressed. Complex. Sophisticated. Great balance. This is one interesting and unique beer.

Lively sparkling. Yeast and spices - pepper, ginger, vanilla. Fruity, sligtly sour in a Belgian way. There is a maltienss from the Egyptian grain which probably accounts for some of the spiciness, too. A good beer and an interesting one.

Bottle, shared @ the Purple Pig. Very hazy, bright light gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is spicy and citrusy, with notes of raw Ginger and zesty lemon, hints of apricots. Lemony spicy flavours, medium bodied, fine carbonation lightens the mouthfeel. Finish is lightly tart and very very dry.
