Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of fruits and hops. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of liquorice, and medium notes of fruits and hops, leading to a dry liquorice-like finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - APR 20, 2012
Bottle from Eataly, Milan Hazy deep blond color, with high carbonation and creamy head. The aroma is mild, nothing special. The flavor is very smooth; there is a quite good Ale, with a clear presence of liquorice root, well blended together, better than I would have expected, soft; medium sweetness too. Interesting.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Hirotoma (233) - Bologna, ITALY - MAR 31, 2012

31st October 2011 On tap at Open Baladin. Clear amber beer, little white head. Softish palate with fine carbonation. Sweetish malt with some left of centre things going on - like licorice! Maybe a trace of citrus. Finishes smooth and little malty. Interesting! (Didn’t know at the time of drinking this had licorice in it!)

Tap at Open Baladin, Roma. On the beer list as "Openoir". IPA? Pours dark brown with a creamy light tan head. Mildly sour aroma (very, very mild). Med body. Flavor is roast malt with mild grapey sour. Light hop in the finish. Lovely beer.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 marcot (771) - Campomorone, ITALY - AUG 10, 2011
