COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The amber version of OPEN, OPEN RISERVA combines the features of caramel and amber malts with the aromas of American hops. The result is an explosion of well-balanced taste, where the biscuit aromas coming from cereals and the notes of dried fruit blend perfectly with the bitterness and the aromatic scents of hops. The body is strong but never excessive, to ensure it is easy to drink. The head is thick and creamy. 16.8į, 33EBC.

Bottle @ Y.N.W.A Beershop, Kolding. Pours cloudy dark orange golden with a creamy thick head. Nose is yeast, fruit, flowers and orange like hops. Yeasty flavor with a touch of dried fruit , bread and hops. Very smooth and creamy. Short bitter finish. A little too much dominated by the yeast - pretty Baladin like.

Darker amber body with frothy beige head. Figs, warming malts, full rounded of dark fruity body, foresty hops. Taste isnít quite as rich yet still full, malty. Like the not-quite-clean yeast in this actually. (Fancy 25cl bottle from Eataly Torino)

0.75l bottle. Really really packed with sediments and floaters this! As much as a beer can hold in my opinion and it has a lovely looking big lasting beige head on top of a deep dark cloudy orange body. Smells really nice and the aroma hits the nose the second your pour the beer. Really hoppy, lots of American hops, a fresh sweetness - lots of it really, strong malty caramel, peaches and citrus. It smells much more like a double ipa than APA imo, but I like it a lot. The taste however is more like a spicy APA. Much dryer than the aroma suggested, I get canned pears, peaches. It has a light oily mouthfeel and a average+carbonation level. Itís slightly herbal as well, earth and nuts. Lots of small things in the background. Definitely not what I would describe as your average APA. Some zesty citrus lingering in the finish and aftertaste. Nice. 21.05.2013

0.75L bottle. Nice golden white head. Sweet honney smell combined with banana. Taste of fruit and herbs with a hint of wheat. Not so full of taste as some IPA's, but still a good ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Big beige head. Amber body made hazy by floaties, with strong carbonation. Light fruity honeyish aroma with spicy herbal notes. Odd. Dry-sweet funky earthy fruity taste with alcoholic honey notes. Light body. Fizzy, slightly mealy mouthfeel with lingering heat at the end. Dryish mealy funky fruity spicy aftertaste with alcoholic notes. Itís kind of elegant, muted, and low-key, and not really that impressive. Not a bad beer, but I donít think Iíd buy it again. (0.75l bottle, from wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)
