750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8%. Deep orange to amber colour, large off-white head. Strong aroma of American hops, notes of orange marmalade and pine / resin. The mouthfeel is full / rich and smooth at the same time. Hoppy flavour too (pine and fruit), but very nicely balanced by smooth and medium sweet malts. I really liked this one.

Fra flaske på Cardinal i møte med Teo Musso: Stone-inspirert, "amerikansk arroganse mot italiensk eleganse" iflg. TM. 1 års lagring, ilke å få kjøpt. Kjempegodt, men et umulig segment å konkurrere i, alle lager slike.

Tasting with Teo, Trondheim: Pours orange with a nice creamy foam. Aroma is like a wall of awesome american hops. Citrus, pine, melon. Lovely. Taste is bitter, with some caramel and pine. Found this to be better than it’s reputation.

Pours a cloudy orange colour with a tall frothy off-white head. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel, fruit and light smokey notes. Taste is also sweet malt, fruit and caramel leading to a nice hoppy finish. Lovely soft mouth feel. I quite enjoyed this one.

On tap at Open Baladin. Cloudy amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is soft with fine carbonation. Creamy sweet malt balanced with marmalade orange citrus. Smooth finish. Decent well joined up beer.

Draught @ Open Baladin a Collaboration beer between Baladin and Stone. It is meant to be a Le baladin super with the hop profile of the arrogant bastard ale (the name gives a clue for sure). I don’t know well the regular version of Super but the arrogant bastard is one of my favorite beers and i have to say that this an almost happy marriage. The body is quite full but it doesn’t mask the strong hop flavor, and you can actually recognize the same texture and character of the american beer. anyway, It’s not so balanced as the arrogant. And i have to say that I’d like to try it once again, in a better shape; it had some storage issue IMO

Light unclear medium to dark orange amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramle, tobacco, oxidide notes, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, oxidide, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110609]
