Apr 27, 2007 1pt 9.4oz bottle. Poured a medium and cloudy amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, fruity, yeast, musty cellar, and a subtle leathery/barnyard. Tastes of citrus, lots of apples, and yeast. Started out red delicious apple sweet and ended in a tart green apple finish. Alcohol content well hidden.

Oct 3, 2008 Huge ochre-amber beer with a white rim. Peanuts, cookies, bakery aroma’s... Not really sour, rather lactic with faint fruity nostes - strawberries, maybe. Very light body, but fiery end in mouthfeel, acidburn. A bit unbalanced, not clear what was intended with this beer. Nose is really strange.

Jun 9, 2007 Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, off-white, fully diminishing. Body is hazy medium amber, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (caramel, cookie), lightly to moderately yeasty (barnyard), with notes of sour apple, cask wood, cherry, pear. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lighlty to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively/soft carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Not bad, but honestly was hoping for something more exciting.

Jun 8, 2008 Bottle shared by EDA at Spuyten Duyvil. Deep amber beer with a very unusual aroma. Cognac and a herbal jagermeister-like liqueur aroma. Flavour is quite herbal and toffeeish with a light licorice character throughout. A bit of oakiness and a weird astringency as well. Neither super nor sour. Buh.

Jul 2, 2008 Poured a slightly hazed amber color with an off-white head. Sweet earthy aroma with notes of not so good cheese and a light spice. Mildly sweet malt with some earthy notes. I did not care for this beer. Oh and where is the super sour part.
