3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 BrewBoxer (879) - New York, New York, USA - JAN 2, 2011
Bottle. Pours a dark copper brown color into a Trappist glass. Little head that fades away to nothing. Smells of fruit, citrus and earthy leaves. Tastes of floral, lemon with little sourness. I’d say this beer is between a sour and a belgian strong, but when I bought the bottle I expected a sour, so I would say i’m slightly disappointed. Overall, not bad, but I wouldn’t seek it out again for the price or the taste.
