Pours a dark honey-amber colored body with a small sidesticking off-white head. It has a light sweet malty aroma, some yeasty tones, a little bit of cardboard, almonds and banana sweetness. The texture and mouthfeel is soft oily and it has a average carbonation level. Flavors are light sweet-ish, malty with traces of candy sugar, almonds and ripe berries. Also some hints of alcohol and it’s leaving my mouth light dry. Yeah, quite a tasty one. 23.04.2012

A cervejaria italiana Le Baladin é muito respeitada, mas suas cervejas não estão ente as minhas prediletas. A Super peca pela pouca carbonatação (característica de muitas Baladin que chegam ao Brasil), e pelo adocicado excessivo, que na minha opinião prejudicam seu drinkability.

September 2010. Bottle. Caramel and malt aromas. Color is a hazy orange with a fizzy white head due to high carbonation. Flavors are sweet, sugary and caramel.

Pours hazy orange with a huge white head. Aroma of new opened glass of jam, bubblegum, citrus and wide range of fruits. Sweet taste and medium carbonated.

Hazy orange pour wirh a medium offwhite foamy head. Aroma of bananas, apricots, candysugar, bubblegum. Taste is bubblegumish aswell, with a strong sweetness and pretty fruity.

Buona birra di stampo belga con note fruttate passion fruit e banana su tutti. Non facile da classificare.

750 ml. bottle- pours hazy dark orange with black floaties throughout and a thin head that reduces too fast leaving a collar and big ugly bubbles. Aroma is extremely malty, caramel, sticky. The taste is the same, caramel malt, floral, bread, medium dry finish. The body is medium, carbonation is high. Overall not horrible, but not really for me either.

Head: small and weak. Color: Dark ruby, hazy.
Aroma: fruity, winy, almond and alcohol that make it feel like Amaretto.
Taste: sweet and almondy, with a touch of alcohol and spicy phenols.

Si ispira alle birre d’abbazia creando un suo stile. Raggiante, ambra, profuma di frutti tropicali, di banana e marzapane. Shiuma abbondante buona carbonazione. Birra corposa, aromatica, sentori di mandorle e nocciole. Retrogusto piacevole e persistente. Beverina nonostante i suoi 8°. Ottima, fra le mie preferite.

Pours ruby/copper with a quickly fading head.
Nose shows brown sugar, chocolate, toasty malt, spicy phenols, caramel, dried figs.
Very similar flavours. A bit too sweet, with loads of caramel, golden syrup and brown sugar. Some booze follows.
Too much carb.

Une bière curieuse. Une bière qui d’entrée de jeu présente beaucoup d’arguments,
mais qui ne répond pas à cet espoir initial...
Parlons clairement : habillage superbe, bouteille type champagne, étiquette originale,
(nous passerons sur la capsule à revers plastique complètement idiote, mais c’est une
discussion de spécialiste), taux d’alcool de 8 % abv encourageant, couleur roux moyen
très jolie.
Mais déjà là 2 problèmes se posent : la levure se mélange au versage en fines particules
dans la bière !!!, et surtout la mousse tombe à plat en quelques secondes alors que ma
bouteille est juste à date en février 2013....
Les arômes rattrapent vite ces fausses notes, superbes sur l’orge, les fruits mûrs et le candi.
L’entame est très belle sur le bois et les fruits (mûrs toujours …), et en arrière-bouche des
céréales. La 2ème bouche est ample, soyeuse, avec des céréales.
La 3ème montre un fond intéressant, un peu huileux.
Mais sur ceci 2 problèmes aussi : la levure est assez indéfinie, et surtout la longueur ne
montre aucun envol....
Pourtant l’alcool est bien dosé, et se montre sous un beau jour.
Donc une bière paradoxale, à qui on voudrait donner beaucoup, mais la finale sans brillance
et les fausses notes citées vous en empêchent forcément...
Pauvre Téo qui fait tellement d’effort pour être là, qui est presque au but, mais qui nous
donne une super pas tout à fait super … La vie est ainsi faite !!!
