Bottle. Bronze and slightly cloudy with a strong presence of alcohol. Some fruitiness and plenty of body. Plenty of flavours seep through as you drink. One to be respected and definitely worth trying.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A very frothy, short and dying soft white head momentarily floats on a hazed dark honey body leaving no lace
Aromas and flavors are initially somewhat cheesy with dusty yet juicy fruit notes of overripe banana and apricot, a touch of bubble gum, reminding me a bit of Matilda and Orval with it’s sweet medium dark malt layer juxtaposed with a mildly off putting earthy cheese layer, small sips combined with exaggerated tasting movements offer some effervescence of pear and apple, this one grows into a more enjoyable experience with warmth into the 60’s, carameled sweet red apple leads to a pinnacle of juicy apricot and blood orange with layers of malty almond
Palate is medium with almost no carbonation, creating a light coating of all the aforementioned flavors, definitely not your standard texture

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A cloudy, coppery beer with a medium and cream head. The nose is quite sweet, mix of berries and fruits, strawberries, prunes, some nuts. Succesfully aroma. Taste of nutty maltyness, dark and fresh fruits, nice fruity sweetness, some spices and bitter almond. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation. Interesting beer and unique beer. At one word, sophisticated.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Orange amber cloudy body with small head. Thick malts, rich, spices, Belgian yeast, toasty, dark fruit -- it’s all good for a BSA but it misses some sticky sweetness for me. BSA’s shouldn’t be so clean. The heavy malts do make for a good mouth feel, interestingly lowly carbonated and just enough (mdoern?) hop bitterness. Alcohol is surely present and warming, so I give this beer the benefit of the doubt. Good attempt and if regarded as an Italian twist rather than a Belgian remake it works out all well. Luckily, because it’s about 3 times as expensive as a Belgian. (Fancy 25cl bottle from Etaly Torino)
