The masterpiece of the brewery. The beer that mostly encountered the favour among the customers at Le Baladin. Although one wouldn’t believe that, it’s the most alcoholic among all the productions. It originated from an old recipe created toward the end of the ’800 following the style of the belgian abbey beers. Intense aroma of warm flowers, apricot and banana and hints of bitter almond. Agreeable, refreshing and quenching taste of apricot in syrup, almond cake and citrus fruits. Excellent the use of belgian selected hop during the fermentation process. This beer matches perfectly with ripen cheeses, biscuits and almond sweets.

Bottle. Lots of caramel and toffee. Not much else but quite nice, little fruity. Don’t get the belgian thing, maybe the booze.

Odore di uva passa e frutta disidratara. Rosso rubino, un po’ sbiadito, schiuma bianca folta che evapora presto. In bocca uvetta e prugna, datteri. Dolce, finale sorprendentemente secco. Media carbonatazione, corpo lungo, oleosa. Buona, ben fatta Teo

Ambrata arancio, buona schiuma, odore fruttato, sapore dolce -maltato e fruttato- ma non eccessivo, con un buon bilanciamento finale con l’amaro.

Nice unclear amber color with a small off white head. Some lacing. Rich inviting aroma. Dried fruits, caramel and some spices. Thick oily liquid. SA bit sweet and a moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation. Complex and lovely sipper. Lots of flavor here. Dried fruits, caramel, some spices, mild yeast and some tropical fruits. Nice one.
