The masterpiece of the brewery. The beer that mostly encountered the favour among the customers at Le Baladin. Although one wouldn’t believe that, it’s the most alcoholic among all the productions. It originated from an old recipe created toward the end of the ’800 following the style of the belgian abbey beers. Intense aroma of warm flowers, apricot and banana and hints of bitter almond. Agreeable, refreshing and quenching taste of apricot in syrup, almond cake and citrus fruits. Excellent the use of belgian selected hop during the fermentation process. This beer matches perfectly with ripen cheeses, biscuits and almond sweets.

It’s kind of like a fine Belgian tripel with caramel and toffee maltiness added. Cloudy deep amber, no head. Nose is balanced burnt sugar, caramel, and fine hops. Upon drinking is initially sweet, but the light mouthfeel and strong carbonation prevent it from being cloying and the flavor quickly withdraws into a balance of mild bitterness and light candy-like sweetness. Aromas are subtle - a bit of flowers and apricots, good amount of caramel and toffee, almost a touch of buttery savorness in the finish coupled with candi sugar and warming alcohol. Very nice and subtle, suitable for a diversity of occasions.

Bottle is kinda old. Best before 2015, so this review may be partly the store’s fault. Aroma is kinda wierd. Very yeasty with a toffee-like character to it. No head what so ever. Strong flavor of alcohol and malt with some toffee or caramel-like character to it. Syrupy, some spices. The bitterness balances the sweetness nicely. OK beer but nothing to rave about.

75 cl Teku, drunk dozens of times by now, also on tap. Thought I’ve got this rated already.. XD. Pours a moderate off-white orange/beige head, dark orange to deep amber colour, quite much hazy. Smells all malt, caramel, peach/apricot or orange fruit, lvely yeasts, dried fruits, toffee. Tastes very malty, caramel, orange fruity again, biscuity, sweet spiced, syrupy. Perfectly balanced, lets say medium sweetness, almost minimal hop taste, just there to keep up with the sweet counterpart. Medium bodied, perfect carbonation, extremly drinkable considering especially the ABV%. Super easy-drinking, with a epic balance even though the pronounced sweet notes, never gets annoying or too sweet. For sure one of the best Belgian Strong Italian re-creations, an aweosme beer with a unique drinkability

Cervesa molt equilibrada en tots els sentits, pot recordar a fruita assecada i és molt rodona en boca. Cerveza muy equilibrada en todos los sentidos, puede recordar a fruta seca y es muy redonda en boca.

Pours dark orange with a thick, big buff colored head. Aroma of citrus and nuts. Big complex nutty sweet taste. Mild, malty finish with round malty deliciousness. Super is right.

750ml bottle poured in a chalice. Lovely Beer. Very fruity a yeasty. Pours a orange hazy color with a thin head which disappears leaving few lacings. Smell is very fruity and yeasty. Red fruits, mainly. Taste follows the nose. Some caramel malts can also be felt. The yeasts taste is really great. A little bit acid aftertaste. Medium body. Medium carbonation. High drinkability. A clear copper coloured brew with a small but long lasting head of foam, great lacing. It smells very grainy, a bit fruity, noticeable hop presence. More whiffs in and it gets strongly caramel malty. Malty sweet, not so much grain, light fruitiness. Very smooth, near perfect mouth feel yet, a bit lacking somehow when I take the price tag into account. +$18 for a bottle.

C’est très fin.Très italien en cela que ça a de vineux.Légère acidité, malté/caramel, effervescence "frizzante".Quelque chose aussi proche d’un bon cidre.Très original et étonnant.

Birra semplicemente spettacolare. É una delle birre artigianali che preferisco. Molto corposa, gradazione elevata colore ambrato! Consigliata ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Una birra eccezionale... non sto qua a farve una descrizione delle varie note e aromi, perché trovo che sia inutile e anche perché francamente non me li ricordo... però ricordo solo che è una delle birre che ho bevuto con più piacere...
