COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra biennale, proposta per la prima volta in occasione di Cheese 2003, manifestazione dedicata ai formaggi, organizzata da Slow Food a Bra. Versione più alcolica della nota Super, si tratta in realtà di una birra piuttosto diversa. Si presenta di un bel colore ambrato, appena velato con riflessi ramati con una schiuma sufficientemente persistente. Abbinamento ideale è, ovviamente, con i formaggi di medio/alta stagionatura.

Introvabile, e quando l’ho trovata è stata una vera delusione! Forse la bottiglia non era in perfetta forma, ma è una cosa che ultimamente mi capita spesso con le Baladin di nicchia.

Hazy medium orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, orange - mandarin, fruity, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20091130]

It says Riserva 2002 on the front label, but batch L15 07 on the back label, therefore possibly 2 years old
Hazy light amber color. It has a mild aroma, with malt, vanilla, smoke, light estery yeast, very light white grapes. Medium body strength, average malt flavor, but the light sourness is unexpected, not bad but possibly out of place in this beer.

Bottle at Papsø. Hazy orange coloured with floaties and a small white head. Fruity aroma of caramel, spices and berries. Fruity flavour of berries and spices with notes of yeast and dried fruits. Fruity and berryish finish.

Cloudy amber with floaties and a medium white head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt, caramel and ripe fruits. Flavour was sourish with toasted malt, caramel, sour berries and hops. Finished sourish.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and lots of fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruits, berries, and malt, leading to a dry citrusy and woody finish. Slightly acidic.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy pale amber with an off-white head. Sweet’n’tart aroma of caramel and overripe fruit. Medium body, fruit - some overripe - caramel and some light oxidization. Tartish, fruity finish while the alcohol is pretty well hidden. 301109
