Comments: Also a 2003 bottle bought in Milano. A pleasant, mature, sour Belgian style with a very spicy yeast profile and a juicy, orangey palate.

Bottle.
Hazy yellow colour with pretty low head. Aroma of sewer, sugary malt, pepper and slight sourish. Light ciderish appley flavour with caramel and good fruitiness. Pretty light body at this abv-level. Bit low on the Belgian yeast profile.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 wunderbier (1434) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 28, 2010
from old notes Cloudy, brown-orange hue; thick, off-white foam. Spicy nose like pineapples and Parmesan with walnuts and apples; perhaps some dark sugar as well. Sweet and savory flavor, perhaps a bit sour, pineapple and orange in the aftertaste. Slick texture, lively carbonation, medium-full body. Yeasty, coating quality. Interesting, to say the least.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - SEP 10, 2007
Super du Baladin Reserve 2003, 4 years old Cloudy orange to light amber color. The aroma is spicy, peppery, with a very light sourness. The body is thinner than expected, with some malt flavor, residual sweetness and pepper spicyness, but also a light sourness that I wonder how much desired it was… Quite fresh for a beer of 4 years ago. The result is a beer of some average complexity, refreshing, but not exceptional.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Grovlam (4108) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 2, 2007
Bottle vintage 2003 and my #1400. [Courtesy of fiulijn, another great session @ Papsoe] Alex delivered this very special bottle from Baladin. Large bubbly off-white head that mostly diminished. Cloudy golden color with a fair display of lacework. Aroma was yeast, light vinegar, pepper, spice, caramel, fruit. Medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Light to moderated sweet flavor with balancing acidic. Light spice sweet finish. 31-08-2007
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Jukkabro (3471) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 16, 2009
Coppery colored with little yellow head. Strong spiciness here with slight toffee and nuts, somehow biting aroma still with green apple. Medium bodied, somehow soapy palate. Flavor is more crispy with apple and lemon in sweet start, slight toffee also here. Aftertaste gets sour with lasting apple still.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Papsoe (22946) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 1, 2007
UPDATED: JUL 4, 2010 (Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of fiulijn. Bottle bought in Italy in the summer of 2007, but label states 2003 - probably meant for cellaring before release? Hazy, amber golden with a small, off-white head. Fruity nose. Rather full-bodied, sweetish fruity, slightly oxidized with some spices and a light, underlying acidity. No bitterness. 310807
