COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Le Baladin Wayan is made of 17 different ingredients (barley, wheat, spelt, oats, rye, different types of hops and many different spices besides coriander. Teo calls it a "Saison" but it is certainly his personal definition of a saison. Aroma and palate are rather complex, ie it takes some time to find your way through it, so to speak. The different hops are barely noticeable. The balance and bitterness is by a high defree provided by those many spices some of which are very, very unusual in brewing. This quite unusual combination of spices and herbs greatly impacts the finish which again is very different from "regular" saison-style ales. Food pairings: Fish, salmon, salads, filet mignon and other steaks, Thai food.

Bottle: Small white head on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. Lots of small and some bigger chunks of something floating in this beer. Smell fruit, pine apple, lime/lemon, wheat spices and some sweets. Taste lemon/lime, hops, light citrussy, herbs, light creamy. Nicely balanced. Medium carbo, soft tingly mouthfeel, medium body and a light watery/creamy texture.

Light hazy yellow color, but some weird brune yeast or WTF is it that floats around!! Doesn’t look good at all, though the general color isn’t bad. Smell pineapple, sweet, liittle sourness. Taste light sour, pretty complex and soft. Carbo medium, body low.

Hazy amber beer. Soft palate. Light creamy malt with a soft orange tone. A pretty simple saison but goes well with some grub!

Colore dorato, con scarsissima schiuma. Al naso poche spezie e nient’altro. In bocca secondo me la componente lievito è un pò troppo ingombrante, migliora sul finale con leggero speziato delicato. Non mi ha convinto.

Bottle. Unclear yellow. Small white head. Aroma has notes of flowers and is a bit soapy. Taste is like soap, perfume, watery and sour. Tastes a bit like watered down detergent.
