The taste is caramel honey, molasses, brown sugar, spice, Xmas cake, oily, sticky, light alcohol warmth and good bite to it. Full body, low carbonation and oily/viscous mouth-feel. Smooth and good depth of flavour. Nice sipper.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle (2004). Pours a elegant redbrown color with no head (looks potent). Sweet, honey-like, aroma with notes of flowers and chocolate. Taste has got the same kind of sweetness. It also has a delicious earthy, strawberry seeds kind of note. Aftertaste reminds me of a liquor filled chocolate bonbon. Incredible smooth mouthfeel. Full bodied. Very similar to a sweet polish mead actually.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled 0,50L. Dark brown color, much carghed with a medium foamy head resistance. Very complex nose, notes of roast cask, resin, caramel, hop and liquor Marsala. Powerfull and overpowering acoholic body, much smooth, mellow, fraught and candy. Realy exaggerated for my mouth.
