agree mostly with Fin(2005) ,alkol oranı means, amount of alcohol by volume

50cl glass from the Balans Brau brewery tap 21-01-07 taken from travel diary notes I added this brewpub to places on the 24th January and I’m pleased to see that its had a couple more visitors since and that the beers that I had have been added. These were my last two beers of the night and of my time in Turkey my notes read ’soft, easy drinking, cloudy yellow unfiltered beer’ (amusingly for both beers)I tried Kristal and Special, the reason I didn’t rate them at the time was I was unsure whether the beers I had were one and the same (see notes on place) I also had written down the commercial description down in Turkish but had added alkol orani yaklasik be interested to know what that meant but I would imagine that it’s something to do with the strength of the beer, also I am unable to do the squiggly bits on the last word. Not bad beers at all but then I had probably had too many Efes and welcomed something different.

This is one of the 4 beers of Balans, Actually it was quite easy going beer, No taste of any hops, and not feel bitterness either. Not a classical pilsner.
