A fine lager from Aruba courtesy of GT. Clear golden pour with a white head. Aroma of corn, apple, plastic, and grain. The flavor is much the same. Quite bland and just mostly sweet. Grain, corn, and apple. A touch of plastic and water on the finish.

Thank you GT2 from bring it back from Aruba, clear cold and crisp with enough carbonation to keep it interesting.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
Tap at various places in Aruba. Clear pee yellow. Weak white foam. No retention or lace. Nose is creamed corn, pineapple, something like diacetyl with browned butter and rancid dairy. Taste is papery, bland, some pineapple juice, creamed corn, slick diacetyl. Finishes surprisingly lactic like sour dough bread. Brewing flaws galore.

Pale and malty. Corn and grass. It’s ok for what it is but I much prefer a chill. Thank you, Aruba

I have very fond memories involving this beer since quite a few were consumed at our wedding and honeymoon in Aruba, but take that away and I find very little else about it appealing. There’s a very strong, skunky scent and the taste is malty in a watery, cheap way. Beautiful island, though!

Can - brought back from Aruba by Mike B - thanks!. Pours pale yellow with a fizzy white head that dissipates quickly with some lacing. Aroma is grain, cardboard, corn syrup, hay. Flavor is about the same. Pretty much right down the middle of the Pale Lager fairway.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can courtesy of blankboy - thanks, Paul! Clear bright yellow-gold with a thin wisp of head. Aroma of corn husk, toasted grain & dried grass. Body is clean and crisp with a nice level of carbonation. Flavour is also quite clean, with toasted cereal, a hint of honey, and grassy hops in the finish. Not to my taste, but fine enough for what it is - and if I was in Aruba, I’d have no problem drinking a bunch of ’em.
