COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The beer has a deep golden color totally clear and transparent, with a bitterness which is soft to the tongue and nose however with an aroma of fresh hops, a short aftertaste and easy on foam. The combination of all feels fresh and smooth to the mouth when cold, perfect for Aruba's hot climate.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2010 On Draft 1/27/10 at the brewery "Beer Garden" in Aruba while on shore for the day, while on the "Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise". Not bad for the style. Decent white head, Clear medium gold color. The flavor was a bit skunky, although this sample was draft. Woody, hop aroma, faint malt as should be. The Brewmaster is German, and he does a commendable job brewing a boring style of beer as well as any.

Can: Thanks Lauren. I am glad you enjoyed your honeymoon. Pours pale golden with perfect clarity, some effervescence, and almost no head retention. The aroma has some mildly sweet pale malt notes, with a touch of brewing cereal- although it is not adjunct ridden. Body is a bit fizzy on the palate, but not as thin as some pale lagers of the Carribean. The flavor displays some cheap pale malt upfront- watery grains, with a straw presence. There is just a slight hint of grassiness from cheap hops. A generic pale lager of the Carribean.

Can, thank you Blankboy! Clear yellow, small white head. Aroma is mild bit clean, faint light hops. Taste is also very clean - light body, foamy mouthfeel, some light dusty hops present. Better than what I was expecting, I could drink a few of these in the right setting.

Bottle thanks to SpringsLicker. Pours pale yellow with a large white foam. Aroma is that skunky Carribean lager, hay, some sweetness. Taste is as expected, sweet malt, adjuncty, hay, grass. Would do its job on a hot summer day.

Can courtesy of blankboy - thanks, Paul! Clear bright yellow-gold with a thin wisp of head. Aroma of corn husk, toasted grain & dried grass. Body is clean and crisp with a nice level of carbonation. Flavour is also quite clean, with toasted cereal, a hint of honey, and grassy hops in the finish. Not to my taste, but fine enough for what it is - and if I was in Aruba, I’d have no problem drinking a bunch of ’em.

Bottle: Bright yellow pour with no real head. Sweet honey and malty scent. Malty taste with a small grassey feel. Not bad, not good. Thanks Jordan.

(Can - 8 oz.) Pours a yellow color with a fizzy looking white head. Not much aroma, but some light grains could be detected. Grass and grain in the taste, complete with a mild metallic aftertaste. Good palate for a pale lager. Some bitterness as well. The can I had might have been a little old, but I can’t imagine this beer tasting any better.

bottle, Iguana Joes, Oranjestad Aruba. best by July, 19, 2009. Weak aroma, corn, dough, hay. Pale clean golden color, no head or lace. Bitter flavor, though mildly so, like aroma. Lite body, watery mouthfeel, dry bitter finish, another classic Caribbean lager,

Aruba beer. Do a little dance. Make a little love. Get down tonight. The beer comes in this cute little bottle that looks like it should be served on airplanes by those arrogant pricks that fake smile at you and ask if you would like a snack, knowing full well that six peanuts and a shitty processed sugar cookie is only herding you toward numb obedience and an inevitable slow and miserable death. Like I said, small bottle. Sweet smelling. Adjuncts, corn, cigarettes on the beach, middle age chics acting like they don’t regret that tattoo they got back when they used to maybe be sexy, but now their gunts cover up the ridiculous rhinestones on their bikini bottoms that stopped fitting after they had their third ill-advised child with some GED toting douche bag who rides a motorcycle to Buffalo Wild Wings so he can try and beat his low life middle age peers in bar trivia, where questions like "Chief Suggam Bagadix surrendered his manhood in which battle?" get the night shift crowd all hot and bothered. I would like to visit Aruba someday.
