2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 ross (1874) - weddington, USA - SEP 19, 2009
Can from Daniel. I forgot how he got this beer, but I would certainly drink more of it. From the can it tastes like a pale lager, smells like one, and yeah. Thats about it. Nothing really to say other than its better than budwesier, tastes like a non skunked heineken, and from a country that is not very large and assumingly does not have a ton of brewers, it isnt bad at all. I would drink this if I was there, probably better than the water
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 bbbeer (181) - Massachusetts, USA - FEB 10, 2012
Clear golden yellow with some bubbles and small head. Aroma is minimal. Light body. Crisp and sort of refreshing, the slightest amount of bitterness and brief off-dry finish. Unobjectionable, but I would move along folks, because there’s nothing to see here.
1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 pet3rman (278) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 14, 2012
333.3 mL can - pours clear/yellow with thin white head - Aroma is mildly skunky sweet. Taste is very bread-like. Faint and quickly dissipating.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 HogTownHarry (4809) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - JAN 13, 2012
333ml can courtesy of blankboy - thanks, guy!! Clear pale gold, large lasting bright white waxy head. Sweet aroma, clover and garden hose. Taste follows, even sweeter, little harsh. Light body, sweet, decent carbonation .... on a beach, I wouldn’t spurn this.
2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 garthicus (2006) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 12, 2012
Thanks to Blankboy. My 1st ever beer from Aruba (and by the looks of it, the only one available there) Appearance: quite light orange, vigorous carbonation, medium white head. Aroma: Mildly hoppy, a little hay and cardboard, tiny amount of fruit. Flavour: Mildly grassy, a hint of hops & fruit, not a lot else really, not bad, can certainly imagine drinking it in a nice sunny atmosphere.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 tupalev (2708) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 31, 2011
Can, thank you Blankboy! Clear yellow, small white head. Aroma is mild bit clean, faint light hops. Taste is also very clean - light body, foamy mouthfeel, some light dusty hops present. Better than what I was expecting, I could drink a few of these in the right setting.
2.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 EKGoldings (487) - Radford, Virginia, USA - DEC 21, 2011
In can at airport in transit. Pretty good .. clean, crisp, some malt, much better than the Polar I had at the sme time. A step up from BMC.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Proeferius (58) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - NOV 19, 2011
bottle@home , pours clear yellow with a nice head. If I place myself in 35 dgrs in the shade with a nice tropic view and a little bit thirsty than it is quite OK. That’s why I rated this a little bit higher.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 ARMed (524) - Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 16, 2011
It’s tough to give this beer a bad rating especially since I feel I have grow to love this Aruba brew. This is a crisp clean beer that has a slightly bitter flavor. Palate is not terrific, but the smooth taste in a hot Aruba day is. The one issue with this beer is that it must be near freezing temperatures to really taste good, otherwise it is crap. Enjoy.
