Bottle from Vinmonopolet.no. Glowing brass. Malty body, some yeast, flowery hops, discreet bitterness. Long finish, pleasant.

gyllenbock (5031) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 7, 2014
Sample at Bergen Ølfestival 2014. (my first one from this brewery) A bit hazy golden with a large white head. On the sweet side with hops, malt, some spices. The finish was medium bitter and rather dry. An ok one.

Mooie oranje kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt fruitig, hop, orange. Smaakt bitterzoet, hop, honing en orange.

Bottle 0,33l. Pours slight hazy golden with a white head. Mild malty and fruity aroma with notes of citrus and caramel and some floral hints. Medium sweet, pretty mild flavours and a fairly mild bitterness too. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy golden with a white head - malty aroma with good hop aroma with fruits and citrus - Malt to support a nice hop profile with some citrus, and olso some yeasy notes - Hops goes into the finish and leaves a dry finish - This was nice

MartinT (8135) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 16, 2014
My Bottom Line:
Citrusy hops and their spicy, wooden bitterness evolve in a lean body tainted with mild diacetyl.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the misty blond.
-The hop bitterness is quite salient, almost reducing drinkability.
-Mouthfeel is however geared towards drinkability.
-Malts contribute but a few sugars.

Bottle.

OleR (4802) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 7, 2014
Unclear gold colored body, with a small blond lace on top. Mild aroma of doughy, lightly toasted malts. A whiff of yellow fruits and earthy hops. Light to medium full. Taste is not entirely fresh. A light sourish-sweet malt base with some stale bittering hops. Some fruity bitterness in a short ending. [Draft at Pingvinen, Bergen. 05.09.13]
