Our flagship IPA is a well-balanced yet aggressive West Coast IPA that showcases Yakima Valley hops at their finest. Late additions of Simcoe®, Citra®, Ahtanum™, and Mosaic® give this beer its complex citrus, fruity, and floral aroma and flavor. Named for a unique piece of farm equipment that removes hop vines from the trellis during the annual hop harvest, Topcutter IPA delivers loads of hoppiness all year long. - See more at: http://www.balebreaker.com/beer/detail.html?varietyid=1#sthash.4gWdeMkF.dpuf

Can, 04/13/2014. Copper pour, slight haze, small white head but great retention, decent lacing built up around the glass. Aroma is mellow citrus hops with grassy, floral profile, slightly resinous, touch of spruce, caramel and pale malts. Taste is grapefruit, earthy herbal hops and pine bitterness, toasted caramel. Medium body, round. Decent, tasty.

Draught @ Brouwer’s Café:   Soft ipa overall, flavorful but not bitter, yet not as bright as I would have thought.   Smooth, clean, citrus peel and pith like bitterness that lingers well after the finish.   Solid, but not real bright.   Could stand to be a bit sweeter as is its pretty dry.   Good, flavorful, but wished it were a bit brighter, sweeter, with more sweet citrus or floral notes, then it would be dead on.

Prufrockstar (679) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 31, 2014
Can. Pours clear, light amber with dense white head; good retention and lacing. Aroma: A lot more caramel than Field 41, so much that it takes something away from the hop aromas. Herbal, resinous, grassy on the nose, riding on the back of caramel. Taste: very dry, quite bitter. Not getting the "citrus, fruity, and floral" parts of the aroma or flavor referenced in the commercial description. Palate: Medium body, lively carbonation, harsh, bitter finish. Overall: An aggressively bitter, dry IPA.

Very solid NW IPA. A little over the top, so it might not be for someone who isn’t an "IPA drinker", but in the PAC NW, I don’t really think those people exist. Very good beer. It uses all of the hops that are currently "cool" in the craft beer scene.

Can. Pours a deep golden amber color with a solid layer of off-white head. Fragrant aroma of fresh hops oil, citrus rind and pine resin. The flavor starts with a dose of resiny hops bitterness, lemon and grapefruit with a bit of pine and caramel malt sweetness in the finish. Looking forward to bringing this along on some camping trips.

Can. Thanks s! Pours a clear medium amber with a loose white head. Big bracing dry penetrating freshcut grass and resin nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Bright toasty grass and pine resin mid palate, with a dust storm dry resiny finish.

ACHops (596) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 16, 2014
On tap @ Stumbling Monk. Pours bright orangish amber with creamy medium white head. Aroma is mild pale malt, quickly overwhelmed by big fresh floral citrusy hops. Taste is similar: clean, lightly sweet unobtrusive caramel malt followed by nicely bitter fresh hops. Grapefruit, fresh cut grass, and herbal earthy notes jump out. Simple, but impressively fresh tasting. Stoked that they’re now in the Seattle market - can’t wait to see more stuff from these guys. Or just keep doing massively fresh IPAs, that would be fine too.

Ataraxia (303) - Massachusetts, USA - JAN 14, 2014
Clear deep golden color, moderate white head. Mild citrus, grapefruit, hay, and pale malt aroma. Light bitterness goes very well with the clean, crisp texture and lively carbonation. No alcohol presence in the even lighter bitterness of the finish.
