Our flagship IPA is a well-balanced yet aggressive West Coast IPA that showcases Yakima Valley hops at their finest. Late additions of Simcoe®, Citra®, Ahtanum™, and Mosaic® give this beer its complex citrus, fruity, and floral aroma and flavor. Named for a unique piece of farm equipment that removes hop vines from the trellis during the annual hop harvest, Topcutter IPA delivers loads of hoppiness all year long. - See more at: http://www.balebreaker.com/beer/detail.html?varietyid=1#sthash.4gWdeMkF.dpuf

Can courtesy of Prufrockstar, thank you sir! Clear golden color, fluffy white head with good retention and lacing. The aroma hits you as soon as you open the can, with tons of fresh fruit and meadows. Taste is bittersweet stone fruit on a crunchy biscuit background. Delicious.

Can from to Mr 5000, thanks Andre! Pours a chill hazed golden orange with fluffy white head that leaves good lace. Aroma of big citrus hop notes, resinous, dank, slight sweet maltiness. Taste is slightly less hop forward, aside from the bitterness, nice balance. Great nose, solid IPA.

12oz can thanks to Ed. Not sure what I ate, drank, smoked (cigars), tonight but my last 3 hoppy beers all seemed similar. Aroma/flavor is eraser shavings, dry rotting fruit and citrus rinds, some lemon, touch of bark and earthiness. Body is medium to slightly thinner and average carbonation with a slight bitter finish. Basically I can’t get truly past the eraser shavings aroma.

Amber with a bubbly head. Massive dry hop nose covers up some diacetyl. Some light crystal malts up front. A fair bit of bitterness in the middle, with diacetyl coming in the finish.

Can, thanks Prufrockstar! Pours clear orange, medium off-white head, nice residual and lacing. Aroma is light, hints of citrus, dank, a hint of leafy tea. Flavor is very light sweet, light bitter, hints of dank citrus pine, along with a leafiness. Medium body.

Gold-bodied with silken, hop-pocked head. Blissfully bitter nose. The flavor is a clean, sharp bitterness. Heavy floral and grass notes. Love the intensity. Malt backbone supports the hops, but that’s all. Nice leafy bitter finish.

Bottle: The aroma consists of grapefruit, citrus, and a hint of dank hops. It’s a transparent golden-orange with a small white head that quickly fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of citrus and tropical fruits. The finish has moderate grapefruit and light dank notes. It’s light bodied with soft carbonation.

12oz can. Canned on August 11 consumed August 27. Sixteen-day-old IPA, not bad. Picked up from fridge section of University Village QFC. Poured into a can shape glass, to be precise its Free State’s Burroughser Weisse. Pours with medium head and average retention. Lacing is light. Color is clear dark gold. Aroma is mostly green hops but not over-the-top, not resinous, mostly piney-herbal mix. A light layer of floral and citrus underneath that. Bitterness is moderate on the nose. Flavor is similar but the hop bitterness is lower than anticipated. The beer finishes dry but not acrid. Malt is just a touch present, just a bit there balancing out some of the bitterness. This is a perfect example of a well made IPA that isn’t even the hops that appeal to me.
