COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship IPA is a well-balanced yet aggressive West Coast IPA that showcases Yakima Valley hops at their finest. Late additions of Simcoe®, Citra®, Ahtanum™, and Mosaic® give this beer its complex citrus, fruity, and floral aroma and flavor. Named for a unique piece of farm equipment that removes hop vines from the trellis during the annual hop harvest, Topcutter IPA delivers loads of hoppiness all year long. - See more at: http://www.balebreaker.com/beer/detail.html?varietyid=1#sthash.4gWdeMkF.dpuf

Thanks goes out to my buddy Miles for hooking me up with this Top Cutter IPA from Bale Breaker Brewing Co. A lovely light honey colored with a juicy hop bouquet featuring prickly pear and luscious tropical fruit notes (passionfruit & guava). Fairly full bodied with a sedate raspy carbonation which seems to say "OK boys let’s scrape this tongue clean for the flavor explosion". The taste is sweet fruity hop notes with a mild bitter bite. Very nicely balanced aromatic IPA. This is definitely my kind of IPA big on hops, tons of flavor but the bitterness doesn’t hit you like a slap in the face.

12 oz. can. Drinking this, while staying with family in Yakima. In the land of hops, it’s ironic that, up until this company showed, up, good Yakima-based brews were damn near impossible to come by. Typically, I can find sixers of this with a month, or less, of age on them. This has an extremely citrusy hop aroma. There’s not much else, aroma wise, but shit -- that hop profile is simply pleasant. The citrus bitterness is so fresh, and prickly on my tongue. Bits of slightly toasted bread kick in. The texture is rather mild, that is - not too carbonated, and definitely not close to flat. Citrusy goodness is dominating here. Definitely smelling and tasting the cannabis. Overall, this is one of my favorite IPAs.

Can dated Aug31 2015. So not the freshest. But that’s all I got. Subtile hop aroma. Taste is slight hops. Biscuity. Lots of back end bitterness. Ok.

12oz can from HBT trade. Pours a hazy honey color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of dank citrus, armpits, grapefruit, and honey malt. Taste of dank pine and citrus zest, grass, tangerines, honey, and grain. Some medicinal notes in there as well. Solid overall, but aroma is the big winner here for me!

Great hoppy aroma. Pours light golden on tap at lj’s bistro. Have had several times before at brewery also. Bale breaker beers are very hop forward. This one has nice citrus finish and dry hopped. Solid one.

Can courtesy of Prufrockstar, thank you sir! Clear golden color, fluffy white head with good retention and lacing. The aroma hits you as soon as you open the can, with tons of fresh fruit and meadows. Taste is bittersweet stone fruit on a crunchy biscuit background. Delicious.

Can from to Mr 5000, thanks Andre! Pours a chill hazed golden orange with fluffy white head that leaves good lace. Aroma of big citrus hop notes, resinous, dank, slight sweet maltiness. Taste is slightly less hop forward, aside from the bitterness, nice balance. Great nose, solid IPA.
