As our flagship brand, this classic Pilsner is our pride and inspiration. Skillfully brewed, it is specially blended for the tropics, moderate and slightly dry. With a well-rounded finish and creamy foam, it is rich in taste and well deserving of its name. Truly premium.

Pale golden coloured body with a sliver of a white head. Aroma of rice, corn, grain and metal - not much and what is - isn’t too pleasant. Light-bodied; Strong rice and corn flavours with some caster sugar and a hint of metal at the finish - nothing too strong, but a little sweet at the end seemingly from corn, actually. Aftertaste is sweet with only a little grain flavour and some cardboard noticeable. Overall, a decent offering that has the same alcohol as all other Indonesian beers of course, but shows decent compared to the other pale lagers. I sampled this 620 mL bottle purchased next door at Circle K in Kerobokan, Bali, Indonesia on 28-June-2014 for IDR27,000, only 500IDR more expensive than a 330 cL can of Guinness - easily worthwhile.

Bottle from Yamaya. Mix of stinky hop (skunked?) and light formaldehyde. Clear medium straw. Thin buttery initial, some caramel, extract-like notes, and tiny hopping. Thin body, Pretty bad. First beer I’ve had from Indonesia -- no, wait... the second. And it doesn’t inspire me to seek out others

OLD NOTES DEC 25, 2003 Why was one of these included in a selection of EUROPEAN beers? A kind corny hop aroma that you get from export lagers. Pours quite pale golden colour with lots of bubbles and a foamy head that disolves quickly. Reasonably watery body with a few little hoppy hints. Crisp and refreshing, but bland.

Bottle, green glass. Nose corny, not quite skunky, sweet with a little malt. Pours a dark but not particularly inviting golden with a short white head. Watery light body, lightly crisp with some darker caramel notes under the corn (reminded of some of the drier Ami Dark Lagers); no hops, very light bitterness, at least it’s not cloying.
