better than most maintream lagers but nothing special. There is no real hop definition here. bland but hasa nice crisp carbonation that would work well on hot days.

This beer was just alright. I have had better. I purchase a 40oz of this last night at a bodega/gas station. It was something new, so I thought I would give it a try. It was decent up until the very bottom. I could not stomache drinking the bottom. This was the first ale I have tried, and I was not that impressed.

Remember that you get what you pay for. For the price, this is a good, if a bit weak tasting, ale. It lacks the hop bite that it used to have apparantly, but it is still a palatable brew. Certainly not a Bass, but it’s less than half the price, too.

This beer is at the intersection of purity, body and flavor on the venn diagram that is on its label.

Did this beer used to be better, or was it just a lack of anything else to drink that made this taste better. At least it has a flavor to it.

Yeah, this is bad beer. But it’s different from the run of the mill bad American lager. It does have some pretense of Ale-ness, something that tries to be hops, but ends up as a strange bitterness. But hey, it’s flavor.

Faint, grainy aroma. Not much of a head. Plenty of adjuncts. Flavor is harsh, not balanced at all. Similar in body to Labatt’s, but with poorly balanced taste and raw alcohol notes. Cheap alcohol presence increases in nose and mouth. A bad beer.
