Had to try this one for the history. Pretty clean grain aroma and flavor, with just a hint of fruitiness in the aroma. Not terrible.

12 oz bottle. Pours a good looking clear gold with a fluffy bright white head. Aroma of vegtables, corn and wet grass and grains. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Weak flavor of stale grain and vegtable soup that finishes with a touch of bitterness. Blah.

Ahhh the legendary Ballantine ale. Been wanting to try this for a while. Too bad I’ll never get to try the IPA. This blonde isn’t bad though. 3.6% of all blondes...really people? Maybe I got lucky and got an unskunked sample. I get a very light hop aroma. Clear yellow, small white head. Flavor is smooth, slightly fruity aftertaste. Smooth finish, medium body.

Drank it out of a can. Didn’t pour anything, just drank it. Nothing to write home about, but better than others.

This beer tastes like it was brewed before any escalators. Horrible. Skunky aroma and taste and hard to drink. Found this little billie to be pretty offensive.
