COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
Classic dark mild. Lightly hopped and well malted throughout, without being sweet. Midhurst Mild won Best in Class at the SIBA South East Region Brewing Competition in 2001.

Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.
Clear medium amber brown color with a average, frothy - creamy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, milk chocolate, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (030508)

Ungstrup (26216) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 1, 2006
[Cask at GBBF 2005] A hazy opaque brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of sulphur and roasted malt. The flavor is nicely roasted, with a dry roasted end, but the body is thin.

Cask@Southampton Arms, London. Very deep amber colour, close to black, with a small beige head. Aroma is fruits, wood, raisins and some mild wooden notes. Flavour is much the same. Pleasantly balanced.

Cask @ Charlies Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a clear amber brown color with a small off-white head. Fruity malty aroma with hints of caramel and hops. Sweet malty caramel flavor with some roasted hints. Sweet malty finish with some hints of caramel in the aftertaste.

UPDATED: NOV 10, 2009 1. Cask Handpump at the Baltic Fleet, Liverpool 14/05/2003 Dark mid brown coloured with some fruit and dryness in a slight roast finish. 2. Cask Handpump at the Harlequin, Sheffield 19/07/2009 Malty aroma. Mid brown coloured a little rich on the palate and fruity with a little bitterness in a crisp and nutty lasting malt finish.

Cask @ the Harlequin Sheffield, after the Grand Tasting. Dark brown color. Caramelly aroma with hint of apple syrup. caramelly bitter flavor, with notes of apple and roast. Almost medium bodied. Drinkable.
