Bottle, conditioned from Sainsbury Petersfield. Pours golden with small offwhite head. Zesty aroma. Refreshing, white bread, zesty hops and medium bitter. A good pale bitter.

Cask at Market Porter, London. Golden beer with a small white head. Swimmingpool flavor, citrus and hops. Not very good.

50cl bottle from the Home Brew Shop, Aldershot. A beautiful pale gold colour with the faintest white head; the aroma has honey, light grains and a whiff of yeast; the flavour is annoyingly ordinary with some citrus and honey; and a biscuity finish with some light floral hops adding a little bitterness. Pleasant enough, but disappointingly not matching up to my initial expectations.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Golden ale, slighty fruity. Mildly bitter finish. Unremarkable but drinkable.

Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Birght gold with white head. Hoppy, bright bitter, good biscuity, dry malty body carrying a dry, flowery hop. A light grainy note in the finsh, a good refreshing beer.

Bottled (found in cellar by my mom, BBE in autumn 2008). Hazy ambery colour with mediumsized off-white foamy head. Aroma is fruits, nectar and some slight wooden and yeasty notes. Flavour is fruity and flowery hops along with some sap and even slight soapy notes.

A Mes rate: bottle from "Down by the Budgens".
Hazy golden brown with a thin but lasting white head. Slight sourness in an otherwise fairly dull lemony hop aroma. Tarty hop flavour with a hint of a possible infection due to what is almost certainly a poor effort at bottling. Pleasant enough bitter citric finish. Just a bit on the dull side.

Bottle. Misty straw heaped with white. Sulphur and vague citric aroma. Grassy hop sweetness drinking like an unfiltered brewpub hell. Good bitterness, rubber, grass, lemon. Wood and biscuit. Jenners unanimously say smoke but I can’t get any(hayfever). Big biting hop IPUs nudging towards quinine. Not bad.
