Bottled (BB 11/2006). Hazy orange - nut brown color, big head with shades of orange. Very fruity (strawberry, blackberry) and yeasty nose. Sweetish fruity flavor, flowery hops with notes of honey in the finish. Bitter aftertaste. At least in bottle conditioned form complex and nice fruity blond ale.

on the bitter and coppery side of a golden ale. This was a bottle conditioned pint (500ml), bright and clear with a yeasty nose, sweetish with a peppery ginger attack to the back of the mouth. i’m drinking this beer close to its origin and it is a delight.

Bottle. Pours cloudy amber colour with thin head. Aroma is grassy, hops, caramel, fruity. Taste is sweet, honey, malts, citrus leads to a nice malty hop filled finish.

Cast @ "The Wharf", Aalborg - 2nd Cask Festival. Golden colour with a cask white head. Cidery aroma. The flavor is of spicy hops with a very pleasent traditional hop in the background. The body is somewhat thin, but that only compliments the single hop used in my oppinion.

Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Birght gold with white head. Hoppy, bright bitter, good biscuity, dry malty body carrying a dry, flowery hop. A light grainy note in the finsh, a good refreshing beer.

Cask. Pale copper colour. Very small head. Very nice hop flavour, quite sweet, but refreshing. Good hops giving a refreshingly grassy flavour.

Golden colour (there’s a surprise). Sweetish hop aroma, with some fruit (pears or apples). Spicy hops in the flavour. Some underlying soft alt and more fruit. Bittersweet finish, although the overall mouthfeel is smooth and easygoing. Nicely quaffable. 500ml bottle (bottle conditioned), RB Joet London gathering.

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2006 Dec 06 Cask conditioned @ South Western Arms, Soton. Pale. Some hop aromatic but dominated by heavy caramelly malt and vanilla. Something not right here - especially considering the pleasant bottle I had. Av rating given. 2.7
Oct 06 BCA (from Bottles of Botley, BB Feb 07). Pale colour. Little hop on the nose, some biscuity malt but in a clean and unusual way. Fairly dry with a very tasty peppery hop finish. Coulld be enhanced significantly with more hops to the fore.

Bottled (found in cellar by my mom, BBE in autumn 2008). Hazy ambery colour with mediumsized off-white foamy head. Aroma is fruits, nectar and some slight wooden and yeasty notes. Flavour is fruity and flowery hops along with some sap and even slight soapy notes.
