Bottled. Reddish amber colour, small head. Aroma is sweet alcohol, raisins and some mild caramelly notes. Flavour is dark fruits, grassy and some alcohol too. The finish is mainly burning sweet alcohol.

Bottle 33cl. @ chris o’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2008.
Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, licorice notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (020808)

A Mes rate: Gravicask @ Pigs Ear.
Admittedly this had been sat on the table for a little while by the time I got round to rating it but I really couldn’t find much exciting about it. Dark coppr with no head. Rather sour, off fruit and rather thick and nasty. Not great.

Bottle, bought @ Utobeer Market Stand, London.
Pours red amber with nearly no head. No fizz either. Aroma has caramel and sourish fruits. Nearly no carbonation, rather oily mouthfeel. Flavour is heavily toffee-based, lots of liqourice, port and sugary sweetness. Very weird - more like a mediocre port than a beer.
