If you have fallen for the IPA style like we have, Big Eye will be a welcome addition to your repertoire. You’ll revel in Big Eye’s bitter, hoppy flavor thanks to the American Columbus and Centennial hops that are used to flavor and dry hop our flagship IPA. We thank our hops every day that the English loved their bitters—or else the IPA style may not have been born to help the beer survive the journey from Cape Hope to India back in the 18th century.

Can. Pours burnt amber, fairly clear, a big 2-3 finger creamy beige head. Aroma- caramel, chocolatey malt, grapefruit, pineapple juice, hop resins, pine needles, smells very nice. Taste- bitter hops, hop resin, orange peel, pineapple, grapefruit, with creamy caramel malt undertones. Mouthfeel is clingy and the finish is long.

Sötare och maltigare variant av sculpin, dock inte lika bra. Dracks på Kullens till Liverpool - Rubin Kazan

Can from BottleDog, Edinburgh. Hazy amber body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange, caramel and booze. Flavour of bitter grapefruit, pine and a hint of onion. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A really solid IPA - bitter and hoppy.

Another great IPA from San Diego. A simple one dimensional IPA. But very fresh pine hops a orange color a great go to. Taste has a slight malty biscuit flavor and the hops continue way into the finish. A solid A brew.

Little hazy, amber colour with medium head. Moderate aroma of caramel, resin and exotic fruits. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with medium long duration malty finish. Medium carbonation. Medium body. Average IPA dominated by maltiness (caramel), could be more crispy and fruity.

Flaska bishops Örebro. Mörk orange färg. Fyllig och djup doft av barr, torkad frukt och citrus. Kraftig maltbas med bra tryck i humlen. Tjock och oljig. Mycket barr med gräs och citrus.

Can at home. Aroma is grapefruit and sweet tropical fruits. Taste is caramel, citrus, ripened pineapple with a long bitter, hoppy finish. Love this beer, huge on the hops and I’d say it blows Sculpin out of the water (see what I did there?).

Bottle in the Canalhouse, Nottingham. Amber with a big frothy cream head. Nice spicy citrus and green fruit aroma. The taste has spice, some metallic notes, pine, stewed fruit and caramel. Full bodied. Very good.

Pours an amber from a bottle, good dank hop aroma, piney, some floral notes. Flavor has got the same notes, some bitterness balanced by some nice caramel malt. Very good beer.
