Bottle. Pours a deep orange with minimal white head. Smells fantastic! Typical ipa aroma of pine, tropical fruit and citrus. Taste is heavy grapefruit bitterness with a tropical fruit sweetness that lingers. Dry mouthful leaves you wanting more. Great ipa!

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours clear amber with a sticky lacing head. Nose is big citrus, flowers, danknes, resins, bright citus rinds, touch of lemons, spicy hops and some caramel notes in there. Flavor is very punchy. Citrus, flowers, spicy hops, dankness, lightly toasty malt with a sweet bread flavor all mixed with the heavy resinous and citrus hops. Firm bitterness in the finish. Great beer

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Perhaps the exact definition of an American IPA. Like it jumped off the page of some dictionary of beer styles. Very good, clean, slightly fruity, quite hoppy, dry and somewhat floral. Some may think it almost too much the straight and narrow, not me.

Pours red/orange clear, big fluffy off white head. Smell hoppy floral, bit of grapefruit. Taste hoppy, bitter up front, dusty earthy mid, bitter pine tail. Light to mid body. Nice.

Can. Dated 13255. Definitely more of a malt backbone when compared to Sculpin.. Which isn't bad, as it sets it sets the two apart... It's a enjoyable change of pace. Aroma is dominated by honey drizzled cereal malt, intermingled with sweet florals and caramelized orange. The palate is dominated by citrus, candied orange and bitter citrus rind. Solid. Fuller bodied. Lingering finish of candied orange citrus and florals. Nice option, fair price. Good.

I wasn’t blown away by this one. I was told it was excellent and I wasn’t as impressed as I was expecting to be. Very malty and I didn’t taste any of the hops I was expecting to. No a bad beer by any means though.
