Wonderful aroma, rich of pine needles, resin, citrus peal, grapefruit, on the end a bit of biscuit. Deep amber color white dirty white head. Seeet buscuit, citrussy notes, pine needles and on the aftertaste other grapefruit. Standard stuff by BP, very smart brew for a go to beer. Thin body, light carbonation, thiny texiture.

An excellent visual with the pour, a dark apricot colored liquid with a finger of off-white soft foam. The aroma is very pine driven with a balance of grapefruit and other light citrus to freshen the bitterness. The lightweight body is well carbonated, but not overly done and allows the brew to come alive on my tongue, imparting the flavor with ease. Great beer! I’ll make this a go-to brew for sure! Tasty and refreshing!

Clear amber pour. Off-white head with big bubbles and lots of streaky legs. Smells of woody hop, spiced malt, mineral/produce aisle. Taste is lemon, woody resinous hop, rye/spice malt. Body is lemony, medium, slick, quite fine. More malt than I expected. Tasty beer.

May 25, 2015; 12 oz. *can*. Lovely, orange-colored pour. Clean, white, bubbly head dissipating to 1/8" with moderate lacing. Truly-remarkable floral, piney aroma. Sturdy malt backbone. Not too sweet. A woodsy, satisfying IPA deserving of its high marks here; finest "new" IPA I’ve had in some time.

Bottle. Tropical fruit aroma with notes of grapefruit citrus hop and a little bit of sweet caramel. Pours copper colored with a large soapy off-white head with excellent retention and not much lacing. Starts with sweet tropical fruit and just a touch of caramel. Finishes very dry with grapefruit citrus and a slight pine resiny hop bitterness. Pretty good, but the sharp bitter finish put me off a little.

Bottle bought at Bier-Deluxe.com. Tasted after Sculpin & Sculpin Grapefruit. Bad idea, since this one comes out much less. Very malty, almost sweet base, honey-like. Nice bitterness in the end. More balanced than the Sculpin’s, but I prefered the bitter erxoticness that those offer.
