COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Big Eye IPA is a big hoppy brew, thanks to the abundance of American Columbus and Centennial varieties we use to flavor and dry hop. While the English originally added extra hops to preserve their beers for sea travel, we do it for the love of all that bold, intense flavor that makes India Pale Ale one of our favorite styles.

355ml bottle at Beer Station, Xiamen on 28 Oct. Pours hazy orange amber with a white head. Aroma of pine with a little citrus and sweaty feet. A typically over hopped IPA, ok but is it enjoyable? Will try again.

Bottle poured into a pilsner glass. Pours a nice light orange with two finger beige-white head. Scent is heavy orange and sweet pine. Taste is a bit on the malty side but also a bit spicy, which I’m finding is what keeps this beer interesting. Bitterness is average. Actually smells great and tastes very good, but it is a hair too malty.

Clear gold. Ample head of foam. Piney nose with some cracker like nose. Hints of lemon. Taste matches the smell. Delightful and very approachable IPA. On draught at Old Chicago.

(draught) very hazy deep amber colour with a frothy light-beige head. aroma of heavy lime juice and vanilla extract, with a touch of white chocolate, some pale malts and heavy liquorice. flavour is mostly honey, pale malts and ethanol, with big notes of white chocolate, some more lime, caramel and a light-bitter herbal-hoppy finish. medium- to heavy-bodied with soft carbonation.

Pours an orangey amber with a substantial white head with and copious lacing. Aroma is somewhat dank with notes of tropical fruit, spice, and candy. Hint of citrus. Taste is balanced: grapefruit bitterness with malty sweetness. Medium body, creamy, astringent finish. Very nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounces can from Craft Beer Cabin. Aroma: nose of pineapples, burned caramel. App: cloudy dark copper, medium off white head, good retention and ok lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, resinous, light to medium sweetness, light to medium crisp bitter and fruity finish. Overall: not a huge fan of malted ipa’s since I prefer them less balanced this more hop forward but this will made. Much better than Sculpin Grapefruits.

Doft av frukt, citrus, karamell malt. Smaken är trevlig med en bra maltig bakgrund med mycket smak av humlen. Frukt, gräs och citrus. Bra eftersmak med bra humlebeska. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
