COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If you have fallen for the IPA style like we have, Big Eye will be a welcome addition to your repertoire. You’ll revel in Big Eye’s bitter, hoppy flavor thanks to the American Columbus and Centennial hops that are used to flavor and dry hop our flagship IPA. We thank our hops every day that the English loved their bitters—or else the IPA style may not have been born to help the beer survive the journey from Cape Hope to India back in the 18th century.

Big citrus pine immediate hoppy taste that lingers on the sides of your tongue for minutes. Actually tastes smoother when it slightly warms. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Bottle from cellarbrations super store in hami hill. Pours a hazy orange with a creamy white head and leaving some nice lacing. On the nose the resinous characters dominate with slight citrus, melon and honey. In the mouth it has a light body accompanied with low carbonation. Taste is bitter and dry with a crisp finish with lots of woody and citrus notes. The big eye wasn't as approachable as the sculpin but was still a bloody solid beer. Loved it

With a smell from mild pine, passionfruits, and citrus I knew from the get go that this one would rock. Taste is beautiful with a steady backbone of medium malts that lures out the floral and bitter taste that we all love.

Great nose, very green and fresh and pungent. Green mangoes, fresh-cut grass, a bit of pine, a bit of grapefruit, a hint of pepper and earthy spices, and some grain make a really deep and satisfying first impression. The mouthfeel is medium, with a slightly oily body and moderate carbonation. The taste is primarily bitter, at first deploying the greener, fruitier flavors (mango peel, grass), which lead to a very dry, fairly lasting finish that evokes earthy minerals. A mild orangey tartness/sweetness also lingers. Not as compelling under the palate as to the nose, but great.

pours a hazy apricot orange colour, thick creamy head with excellent retention. smells like pine needles and citrus peel and a hint of nuts. Tastes amazing, big on hop flavour and bitterness. Great example of a west coast IPA, bold and hopped to the max, but bought under control with some nutty caramel malts. Overall a very good beer.

Can, from Rochester. Pours classic copper, not a huge head, loads of lacing. Nose is piney hop. Tastes bitter, not to aggressive that way. Just classic. Very sessionable.

On tap at Parry's. Pours a medium amber and makes a decent off white head. Zillions of tiny bubbles create lacing down the glass. Aroma is of pine and citrus. Tastes of big centennial hops , perfect bitterness. I still prefer Sculpin, but I like this IPA a lot. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
