EHSRanders (696), Randers C, Denmark Aug 28, 2008 Bottle. Clear orange/amber colour with large creamy white mostly lasting head. Hoppy aroma. Sweet flavor. Bitter finish. maugus4ever (40), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA Aug 20, 2008 Pours copper with a thin dissipating head. Nice citrusy, hoppy aroma with flavor to match. This was a very enjoyable IPA with a good balance of hops and malts. tronraner (1399), (Louis-, Sevier-, Knox-)ville, Tennessee, USA Aug 18, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours copper orange with sticky beige head. The aroma is pine, mango, and a light honeyish sweetness. The flavor is toasty malt and a disembodied fruitiness, with canteloupe, orange, and mango. At first taste it strikes me as a little more gentle and malty than I thought it would be, but it finishes with a strong piney bitterness that lingers into an aftertaste of wood and grass. Pretty good. golubj (966), Redwood City, California, USA Aug 17, 2008 Bottle. Nice orange pour, some white head that dissipated quickly. Nice citrus, orange peel, and pine hop aroma, The flavor is just like the aroma, lots of orange peel / grapefruit-like bitter flavor. Some resin and pine in the back. Nice ipa... I think this was a good year for hops b/c all the CA IPAs have it going on. Lt_Dan (27), Greater Los Angeles Area, California, USA Aug 17, 2008 Had it as a sampler at Stone 12th, then ordered it later that night for dinner. Full bodied, wonderful tropical fruit like hops, malts with perfect sweetness.
