Bottle to glass shaker. Pours a yellow / copper color. A little hazy with a sparse off white head. Good hop nose, and nice up front hop bitterness. Good balance of malts & hops.

I think it is even better than their Sculpin IPA, tasting it on tab on their Little Italy location is a nice add on. Not for casual beer drinkers though

See through hazel in color with a thin tan head at top. Pleasant aroma with pine and a sweet smell to it as well. Tastes great but the palate is a little heavy and bitter. Still a great American IPA

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A- Pine, dank, grassy, orange, citrus.
A- Burnt orange color, clear liquid, off white head.
T- Pine, orange, strong bitterness.
P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish.
O- Loads and loads of bitterness everywhere in this beer. Iíd almost consider this a DIPA. For a hophead this would be devine. For me, it was decent but not my favorite.

Ballast Point puts hops in it and slaps a fish on it. Thatís all they have to do to make a tasty bottle of ale. Big Eye pours orange with a creamy head. Pine and grapefruit aromas with a touch of caramel malt. Big hoppy flavor with pine, grapefruit, orange, and mango. Thereís a fair amount of malty sweetness, but the balance definitely favors the hops. That just as it should be.

355 ml. bottle @ Gollem. Clear orange golden, little white head. Nose is big chewy pine resin hop, very dank, big orange, such thick pine resin goop with some marmalade & orange peel sweetness in the back. Taste is great mix of first big pine resin goop, some bitter orange peel but massive pine resin goop candy balanced by Turkish delight sweetness, toffee, butterscotch, candied fruit, nice pleasant pine resin bitter finish. Thick chewy toffee & Turkish delight body. Works pretty well, very solid beer.

Pours deep copper with nice off white head. Huge aroma of piney and floral hops. Hits with big hop bitterness up front with a nice smoothing from significant maltiness. Great balance. Grrat beer.

Bottle at home. Pours golden with a white . Aroma of stale hops, caramel, earthy, citrus, toffe, pine, light grape. Taste is rather sweet, stale hops, loads of pine, good grape fruit notes. Dry and bitter finish. Shame its 5 months old.
