Pours unclear dark blackish with almost no head. Aroma is band aid and smoke with subtle peppers. Body is pretty carbonated with the spicy peppers starting to hit at the end, and then huge spice hitting the throat. Thinner as expected being a single porter in fashion of the base beer.

On cask at the Toronado back before summer. Pours with a near black hued body with red highlights. Lasting tan head. Good lace. Aromas are chocolatey, raisins, smoke, lightly fruit, oak tannin and licorice. Flavors are woody, earthy, light spice, medium bitter, chocolate, a bit chalky, raisins. Feels a bit flaccid. Cask mouthfeel, low carbonation, fuller bodied.
