21iceman40 (1669), north little rock, Arkansas, USA Nov 13, 2004 This was pretty damn cool, the dude at the brewery said it was basically the yellowtail, and they tossed in a ton of berries and something to make it acidic. It had some cool fruit tangy qualities to it, but damn was is watery. Pretty damn cool though for just makin a beer for the hell of it. I respect that and this beer. SDbruboy (1809), San Diego, California, USA Sep 25, 2004 This is an experimental ale from Ballast Point with blackberries and aged in oak barrels. Pours clear amber-burgandy color with virtually no head. Aroma is light and fruity. Flavor is dominated by the blackberries and oak notes, tart and tannic, unusual but not unpleasant. Refresing medium-light body with prickly carbonation.
