Ballast Point Bourbon Barrel Aged Come About Stout

On-tap at BP Linda Vista. Pours black with a tan, somewhat sticky head. Smells mildy fruity to me, sweet malty, dry, just a hint of bourbon, vanilla and oak. Tastes of dark fruit, wood, vanilla, and a touch of bourbon. The barrel flavors are very mellow and blend well with the flavor of the beer. Full bodied, dry, active carbonation.

On tap at brewery. Black with a creamy tan head. Chocolate and citrus aroma. Rich chocolate taste with a robust bourbon flavor. quite good.
